Police seized 3 crore worth Opium in the city
Bangalore, Apr 8(UNI) City police have have seized about 6 kilo of opium, a narcotic substance worth over Rs 3 crore in the international market and arrested one person today.
According to police, the accused Prabhu Rao, a resident of Rajashan was arrested near city railway station and seized Opium from his possession.
The investigating team was yet to ascertain whether the accused was trying to smuggle the narcotic substance out of the state or waiting for disposal within the city. The accused was produced before the judicial magistrate and was remanded to judicial custody the sources added.
