Tata Indicom to launch 2,500 exclusive stores across India
Chennai, Mar 31 (UNI) Leading mobile service provider Tata Indicom today announced that it would set up about 2,500 'Tata Indicom Exclusive Stores' across the country during the coming fiscal.
Each store would be set up with an investment of 15 lakh, Tata Indicom COO Srinavas Rao Rarapalli told newspersons here after launching the company's 60th exclusive store in the city.
''The company also has plans to launch various high speed internet products,'' he added.
''The store is aimed at creating a one-stop solution for the customers' needs with regards to purchase and service,'' he said, adding ''we would also be opening 250 exclusive stores in Tamil Nadu alone.
Mr Rao also pointed out that the company also planned to launch new pre-paid and post-paid schemes to its customers across the country.
The official also claimed that his company was the largest chain of exclusive telecom stores in the country.
''This has been the quickest retail expansion in the country and even finds mention in the Limca Book of Records,'' he said.
Mr Rao also mentioned that his company is also planning to launch new mobile sets in the new fiscal.
