Reliance Energy buys back 1,21,500 equity shares

New Delhi, Mar 31 (UNI) Anil Ambani-promoted Reliance Energy Ltd today said it has bought back 1,21,500 equity shares of the company.

Since the commencement of the buy-back on March 31, 2008, Reliance Energy has so far bought back 9,51,500 equity shares aggregating Rs 122.39 crore, a company statement said.

The board of directors of Reliance Energy Limited have approved buy-back of equity shares of the Company up to an aggregate amount of Rs 800 crore, it added.
