Pandemonium in House over Sahar land issue
Mumbai, Mar 31 (UNI) Shiv Sena members tried to corner Revenue Minister Narayan Rane by raising the issue of allotment of Sahar land in the State Legislative Assembly today.
Leader of Opposition Ramdas Kadam, Subhash Desai and Dattaji Nalavade (Sena) raised the issue of allotment of Sahar land by the Revenue Minister. Rane supporter Vijay Vareddiwar (Cong) alleged that Sena was trying to stage a drama on the issue and was ignoring the vital issue relating to the state.
The House was adjourned twice for ten minutes as the Sena members continued with their slogans, demanding the Revenue Minister's resignation.
Diwakar Raote (Sena) tried to raise the issue of protection to Chetan Kamble in the Legislative Council but Chairman Shivajirao Deshmukh denied permission for it, saying that the matter was subjudice.
