College student dies under mysterious conditions

Dharamshala Mar 31 (UNI) A youth student of B.A final resident of village Spain of Jawali subdivision of this district died under mysterious circumstances in the Depot Bazar locality of Dharamshala this morning today.

Kangra District police Chief Dr. Atul Phulgaly said that a student of B.A final identified as Sunny Sharma, who was putting up in the Depot Bazar locality of the hill town along with his sister and father Mr. Drobh Singh, died under mysterious circumstances.

The police was investigating the case under section 174 C R P C .

Dr. Atul said that according to the preliminary investigations Sunny had hanged himself in his room with a bed sheet. A girl, who is said to be the friend of his sister, cut the bed sheet and brought Sunny down. He said that the father of the deceased youth and his sister rushed him to Zonal Hospital and police when informed arrived in the hospital.

SSP Atul said that body was sent for the postmortem and circumstantial evidence was being collected.

Dr. Atul said that the things would cleared up out following the receipt of the autopsy report. He said that statements were being recorded to confirm the facts of the crime He said that in another case a unidentified decomposed dead body of a 35 year old person was recovered from a well in Niazpur locality of Nurpur today.

He said that the body bore no marks of injuries and it seems the person might have died of drowning. He said body was sent for the postmortem and the investigation was in progress.
