Ministers nephew booked for assaulting lawyer
Ambedkarnagar, Mar 29 (UNI) Tourism Minister Ram Achal Rajbhar's nephew was today booked for allegedly beating up advocates in Kotwali area here.
The incident occurred when advocate Jamal interrupted the minister's nephew Sanjay from entering the ladies ward of the district hospital, where a lady doctor was examining his wife.
Irked over this, Sanjay used abusive language against the lawyer, besides assaulting him, police said.
The matter intensified when the duo's associates joined them and resorted to fighting.
Later, lawyers 'gheraoed' the police station to get the complaint registered against the culprit.
A case has been registered and investigations were underway.
