PFC for Rs 50,600 crore in loan, Rs 19,300 in disbursement in FY09

New Delhi, Mar 28 (UNI) Country's prime lending agency for the power sector, PFC today said it targets a 83 per cent hike in sanctioning loans to Rs 50,600 crores and a 34 per cent increase in disbursement to Rs 19,300 crores for various projects across the country in FY09.

PFC today inked the performance-based Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Power for FY 2008-09 which was signed by Anil Razdan, Secretary Power, and PFC CMD V K Garg.

PFC envisages a gross margin stood at Rs 1,720 crores and return on net worth was at 13 per cent in addition to other sector-specific and enterprise-specific parameters for FY09.

The monitoring of achievements of MoU Targets will be reviewed by the Ministry of Power at Quarterly Performance Review Meetings.

PFC has been a MoU-signing Enterprise since 1993-94.
