'Return of Hanuman' bags best animated film award at FRAMES

Mumbai, Mar 27 (UNI) The popular animation film ''Return of Hanuman'' has bagged the BAF award for the Best Animated Feature Film in the ongoing annual convention on the business of Indian entertainment and media, FICCI-FRAMES.

The BAF Awards, sponsored by US company Autodesk, were presented here late last night in 17 categories, including Animated Feature Film, Animated Short Film, Animated TV Episode, Animated Ad Film, Animated Promos, PC Games, Console Games, Mobile Gaming, Best VFX in a Motion Picture, Best VFX in a TV Episode, Best VFX in a Commercial, Best VFX in a Music Video, Best VFX Shot of the Year, Animated Film on Social Welfare, Best Online Game of the Year and Outstanding Original Indian Content in Animation, Gaming and VFX.

The keynote address at the award night was delivered by Autodesk's Media and Entertainment Division Vice President Stig Gruman.

The other winners this year include Bajaj Pulsar TVC for Best VFX in a Commercial, Bollywood movie ''Salaam-e-Ishq'' for Best VFX Shot of the Year, Little Krishna for Best VFX in a TV Episode, Hanuman Returns for Mobile Games, and ''Yamadonga'' for Best VFX in a Motion Picture among others.

This year 406 entries were received for the awards from India, US, France, Canada, Italy, Spain, and South Africa.
