Prices of Groundnut, its oil and Nigerseed down

Mumbai, Mar 25 (UNI) Prices of Groundnut seed, its oil and nigerseed fell today on sluggish demand by bulk consumers from producing centres like Gujarat and Karnataka, traders said.

Groundnutseed and its oil eased by Rs 25 per quintal and Rs five per 10 kg respectively. Nigerseed also dropped by Rs 15 per quintal on heavy selling pressure.

However, RBD palmolein remained steady on moderate demand, traders added.
