Dell, Croma announce retail patnership in India

Mumbai, Mar 25 (UNI) Dell, a consumer electronics retailer, today announced the availability of Dell laptops and desktops in Croma stores across the country.

This is the first time that Dell Products will be made available in India through retail outlets in the country.

Speaking to mediapersons here today, Company Vice President (Sales and Marketing) Michael Tatelman said, ''Our primary goal is to create an environment where customers can experience Dell's technology first hand. The agreement with Croma will strengthen Dell's consumer presence in India, making our products more accessible.'' Infiniti Retail CEO and MD Ajit Joshi said, ''We are constantly looking at ways in which we can add value to our customers shopping experience. This arrangement with Dell enables us to offer them a unique opportunity to get a taste of Dell's extensive range of acclaimed products in a premium retail environment for the first time in India.'' In the past several months, Dell has announced relationships with Carrefour in Europe, Best Buy, Wal-Mart and Staples in the US and Canada, Courts in Singapore, Gome in China, Bic Camera in Japan, Carphone Warehouse in the UK, DGSi and Tesco in various parts of Europe, Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina.
