Three youths drown in two separate incidents in Nyari dam

Rajkot, Mar 24 (UNI) Three youths drowned in the Nyari dam, in two separate incidents, on the outskirts of the city on Saturday evening.

Pradip Sharma (22), had gone to the dam along with friends to take bath. He accidentally slipped into deep waters, while taking bath and drowned, sources said Later, his body was found by the fire-brigade officials.

In the second incident, which occurred at some distance from the first one, two youths while taking bath strayed away into deep waters and drowned.

The deceased have been indentified as Vipul Chavda (24) and Akash Chandiramani (22), sources said.

Their bodies were retrieved by the fire-brigade officials and sent for postmortem.
