TDP expels Vidyadhara Rao for anti party activities
Hyderabad, Mar 24 (UNI) The Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh today expelled the TDP official spokesperson and former Minister K Vidyadhara Rao from the party for his alleged 'anti-party' activities.
According to a party release here, the Telugu Desam Legislative Party (TDLP) deputy leader K Kala Venkata Rao said Mr Rao was expelled from the party for degrading the image of the party in his recent interview in a section of media.
He said the Polit Bureau which met here, had adopted the resolution to expell the senior TDP leader from the party.
The members of the Polit Bureau had unanimously urged the party High Command to take disciplinary action against him.
