Indian govt gifts six cavalry horses to Bangladesh

Bangaon, Mar 19 (UNI) The Indian government today presented six horses to the Bangladesh government by ceremonially handing them over to the neighbouring country's army here at the Petrapol corridor in North 24 Parganas.

Six cavalry horses - two male and four female - brought from New Delhi, were handed over by Colonel M Bhattacharya to Major Amin of the Bangladesh Army at a function organised here.

Colonel Bhattacharyya, while handing over the quadrupeds, expressed the hope that cordial relations would be maintained between the nations, which Major Amin reciprocated.
