Congress appeals to Pak Prez to treat Sarabjeet issue holistically

New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) The Congress today appealed to the Pakistan President to examine the entire issue of Sarabjeet holistically and compassionately.

''Without any manner of interference in the sovereignity of Pakistan, all I would say is that one would appeal to the human instinct of the Pakistan President to examine the entire issue holistically and compassionately,'' Congress spokesperson Dr Abhishek Manu Singhvi told UNI.

''After all these are not hardened criminals or terrorists which we are talking about,'' he said, pointing out they deserved a diffrent approach.

Moreover, there are some strong issues of mistaken identity in Sarabjeet's case, he added.
