Woman kills medical shop owner in Kashmir
Srinagar, Mar 15 (UNI) A women allegedly killed a medical shop owner in the city this afternoon, official sources said.
They said a woman identified as Hanifa had rented out a room of her house to one Ghulam Ahmad Dar at Kaksarai near SMHS hospital some years ago.
She wanted Dar to vacate the shop, sources said, adding a case was going on between them in a local court.
The family members of Dar alleged that Hanifa was threatening Dar to vacate the shop or face consequences.
They said she allegedly hit Dar in the head who died before he could be shifted to nearby hospital this afternoon.
They further said she had allegedly killed her husband Mushtaq Ahmad Shoura in July last year.
Her in-laws also alleged that Hanifa managed to escape the gloves after she allegedly tempered with the proof.
They have taken up the matter with the State Human Rights commission praying that police should be directed to investigate the muder of Shoura and bring Hanifa to justice.
