Indefinite strike of Bihar lawyers continue
Patna, Mar 15 (UNI) Legal activities in all civil courts in Bihar were severely affected as the statewide 'indefinite' strike by more than 10,000 lawyers continued for the second day today.
The strike has been called by the Bihar Civil Lawyers Association to press for the demand for higher fees and improvement of working condition.
Claiming overwhelming and total response to their strike call, an Association spokesman here today threatened to 'gherao' the state Assembly on March 18 if their demands were not met by then.
An emergency meeting of the Association had been convened here tomorrow to discuss the future course of action,the spokesman added.
