Karnal, Mar 12 (UNI) In view of increasing incidents of crime by domestic servants, the Haryana Police has decided to register the finger prints of all the household servants in the state.
According to Haryana Crime Record Bureau Director Laik Ram Dabas, the move has been made at the behest of Haryana DGP Ranjiv Dalal following a sudden spurt in crime having involvement of servants particularly in Gurgaon, Faridabad and Panchkula during the past few months.
Mr Ram said that all the district police chiefs in the state had been directed to procure the finger prints of the household servants in their district and promptly send them to the Crime Record Bureau.

He appealed to the people to get their servants and their finger prints registered with the police.
