Lawyers boycott court against Mr Bharadwaj's statement

Hubli, Mar 11 (UNI) Members of Hubli Bar Association today boycotted court proceedings in protest against statement made by Union Law Minister H R Bharadwaj in the Parliament yesterday to the effect that there was no need for Circuit Bench for Hubli.

The agitators contended that after the necessary approval from the concerned authorities the building construction work has been in progress near Dharwad. But now no funds were allocated for the Bench in the vote on account presented in the Parliament yesterday.

Shouting slogans, the members walked out of the court rooms condemning the statement of the Minister.
