Haryana police busts gang of car liters

Ambala, Mar 9 (UNI) An inter-district gang of car lifters operating in the districts of Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Ambala and Karnal was busted by the police today.

A proclaimed offender Baljit Singh alongwith his accomplice Praveen, both of whom were members of this gang were nabbed by the police, police officials here stated.

Baljit was declared proclaimed offender by the Yamunanagar police in dacoity and theft cases.

According to the police, Baljit and his accomplices had stolen 10 cars from Panchkula, one truck from Jagadhri and one car from Maheshnagar, Ambala Cantonment. He was wanted by Ambala Police in a theft case. He is also wanted by the Karnal Police in several cases.
