Vimal launches exclusive store in city

Chennai, Mar 7 (UNI) Vimal, the flagship textile brand of Reliance Industries Limited, which had entered the apparel market, opened its first exclusive store in the city.

Talking to newspersons here, Padmanabhan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Vimal, said this was the fourth store and the company was planning to open 20 more exclusive stores by the end of the year.

Mr Padmanabhan said the showrooms would offer not only the latest fabric collections for premium menswear, but also the Vimal range of men's apparel-shirts, trousers, suits and jackets.

The apparel would be available in three sub-brands, Vimal Red, Vimal White and Vimal Black. Red, positioned at the popular level, would cater to youth. While White would be premium and trendy range, Black would be the top-end brand, designed in the Italian fashion, he added.
