Govt trying to promote tourism in Saurashtra and Kutch:Modi

Junagadh, Mar 6 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi said here today Junagadh and Kutch had great potential to become leading tourist destinations and the state government was making all out efforts for its development.

Launching a Satsang Hall and a free 'Bhojanalaya' at Bharati Ashram at the 'Mahashivaratri Mela' here, Mr Modi urged all religious leaders to support his efforts to promote tourism in Junagadh and elsewhere.

He said ''Mount Girnar in Junagadh is a land of great spiritual masters and saints. The government is planning a ropeway in Mount Girnar''.

Noted saint and an expert on Ramayan, Moraribapu and others were present on the occasion.
