Muslims demand financial aid from Centre
Bareilly, Mar 4 (UNI) Various Muslim organisations and 'Ulmas' (the learned jurists and theologists of Islam), who had congregated here in the ongoing Ala Hazrat Urs, today demanded a financial package from the Central government.
Various Ulmas from across the country have assembled in the three day Urs that would mark an end tomorrow, sources said.
A Muslim sammelan was today held, in which a 15 point agenda was also kept forward.
The proposal asked for financial aid to the riot affected Muslims at various places, including Gujarat, Meerut, Bhagalpur, Moradabad.
