Drug peddler with 3 kg charas arrested in Jammu
Jammu, Feb 29 (UNI) Police arrested one person and recovered three-kilogram of charas from his possession in the city late yesterday evening, police said here today.
Official sources said the drug peddler, identified as Aijaz Ahmed, a resident of Kulgam, Srinagar, was arrested by a team of district special branch on specific information.
''The accused was arrested from Gujjar Nagar area and three kilograms of charas was recovered from his possession,'' the sources told UNI, adding that a case under section 20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act had been registered against him at Bahu Fort police station.
