AIRBEA calls nationwide strike on March 12
Kolkata, Feb 29 (UNI) The All India Reserve Bank Employees Association (AIRBEA) today called a nationwide strike in RBI offices on March 12 demanding filling of vacancies in class three posts.
AIRBEA Secretary Sudipta Saha Roy said the strike had also been called to press against outsourcing of RBI jobs and against discriminatory treatment of base level staff.
He said about 5,000 class three posts in RBI offices had been lying vacant for a long time.
