Southern Travels to receive Best Tour Operator award on Feb 27

New Delhi, Feb 25 (UNI) The Southern Travels Ltd, a tourist organisation, has been chosen as 'Best Domestic Tour Operator' by the Ministry of Tourism.

The company which started operation by booking onward and return journey rail tickets at a nominal costs ranging between Rs three to Rs five and also started guest house and bus operations to Agra and Hardwar mainly catering to middle class and government employees.

It is now planning to start a hotel and travel management institute to train the manpower for the hospitality industry.
