'Beyond the borders' to highlight lifestyle of migratory birds
Jammu, Feb 24 (UNI) A team from Delhi comprising cinematographer Rajesh Besi and producer-director Rama Panday are busy these days on a telefilm 'beyond the border', which would highlight the lifestyle of migratory birds, who come in thousands to the gharana wetland situated in bordering Ranbir Singh Pura, some 25 kilometers from here.
The shooting for the telefilm is in the final stage.
According to Ms Pandey, ''the shoot is almost complete and hopefully the work would also be included in the 'echo festival'.'' ''I think the migratory birds coming all the way from Siberia to the village gharana in flocks should be saved.
And the wetlands, where these rare species of birds stay, should be developed, which is not possible without the participation of the locals,'' she said.
Citing the example of Jodhpur where locals made an effort to save the species of bird 'kurza', Ms Pandey said ''people here also should help the authorities to protect 'raj hans', which is the most famous and beautiful species of migratory birds.
''Besides English, the film will also be translated in Dogri and Hindi,'' she said, asserting that the film is completely based on the lifestyle and routine affairs of migratory birds.
