Dr Shashank Gandhi dies in car accident
Nashik, Feb 23 (UNI) Renowned heart specialist Dr Shashank Gandhi died in a car accident here.
Dr Gandhi was on his way back home after attending a patient at Tapovan Hospital late last night when his car hit a tree in Tilakwadi area of the city. The collision was so intense that Dr Gandhi died on the spot.
Dr Gandhi,who hails fromj Akola district in Vidarbha region, had settled here 12 years ago. He was popular among patients as well as fellow professionals for his soft spoken nature and service to patients. His death has shocked many from the medical fraternity.
