Castrol India's Q3 net up 49.05% at Rs 56.76 cr
New Delhi, Feb 19 (UNI) Castrol India Ltd today said it has registered an increase of 49.05 per cent in its net profit at Rs 56.76 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 38.08 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Its total income increased 0.15 per cent to Rs 486.09 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 from Rs 485.34 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006, a company statement said.
Besides, the yearly profit of the company went up 41.38 per cent at Rs 218.43 crore for FY07 as against last year's profit of Rs 154.49 crore.
The company's total income for the year witnessed a hike of 7.6 per cent at Rs 1,923.1 crore for the year ended December 31, 2007 from Rs 1,786.79 crore in the same period last year.
