3 killed, 7 hurt as bus rams into truck
Chitradurga, Karnataka, Feb 18 (UNI) Three persons were killed and seven injured when the Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus in which they were travelling rammed into a parked truck near Baramasagara, on National Highway 4, about 20 km from here, early this morning.
Police said two persons were killed on the spot while another succumbed at the district hospital.
The injured had been admitted to district hospital. The deceased were identified as Palaniswamy (58) and Mani (45), both from Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu and Mallikarjuna (40) of Bagalkote.
