2 Members of criminal gang arrested in Alwar

Alwar, Feb 16 (UNI) Two members of a notorious criminal-gang charged with murder, extortion and loot were nabbed by the police here today.

The arrested include Mustaq, who carries a reward of Rs 50,000 and had been accused of killing a police constable who went to arrest him during the firing at Pahadi police station in Bharatpur district on February 9.

Mohammad, an accomplice of Mustaq, was also apprehended by the police while another managed to escape. They were arrested from the Taxi stand.

According to the police, Mustaq, a resident of Badli in Haryana, had been residing in Fouji Colony here.
