CPI(M) denies amity with TDP for coming polls
Kakinada, Feb 12 (UNI) CPI(M) Andhra Pradesh State Committee Member Dadala Subbarao today said the party has not decided on alliance with the TDP for the coming general elections.
Talking to newspersons here, he said the party's policy was to forge alliance with the parties that think in same wavelength.
Stating that there was no difference between the Congress and the TDP, especially in foreign policies and pro-US approach, Mr Subbarao said ''both Mr Chandrababu Naidu and Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had succumbed to the pressures of World Bank while implementing the so-called reforms.'' On actor Chiranjeevi' s proposed entry into politics, he said the CPI(M) welcomed his plan, but extending the party's support depended on the star's approach to taking up peoples' problems.
