Hooda releases Souvenir of Asia-Oceania Davis Cup

Chandigarh, Feb 10 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today released Souvenir of the three-day Davis Cup Tie of Asia-Oceania Zone Group-1 (Round-1) between India and Uzbekistan being played here in R K Khanna Tennis Stadium.

On the occasion, he was introduced with the tennis players and non playing captains of both the teams.

He also witnessed a reverse single match between India's Rohan Bopana and Uzbek's Denis Istomin.

Later, the CM distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up of under-14 category of boys and girls of Mohan Meakins Tennis Championship- 2008 at Gymkhana Club grounds here.

Congratulating the participants, the Chief Minister said that they were the future of the country and should concentrate on the game as well as studies to achieve alround success in their career.
