Armed criminals loot Punjab National Bank
Dehri-On-Sone, Feb 5 (UNI) An armed gang robbed Rs 4.36 lakh from the Sinjhauli branch of Punjab National Bank(PNB) in Rohtas district of south Bihar today.
Police here said six armed criminals raided the bank as soon as it opened and looted Rs 4.36 lakh from the strong room at gun point.The robbers also threatened the employees with dire consequences if they raised the alarm. They fled with the entire booty.
The police launched a manhunt and sealed all exit points of the district to nab the criminals.
Meanwhile, in another incident early today armed miscreants looted Rs 10,000 from a post-office under Pusa police station area in Samastipur district and seriously injured three people, including the postmaster, while fleeing with the booty.
