Youth threws acid on a college girl

Hubli, Feb 4 (UNI) In a macabre incident, a youth allegedly threw acid on a college girl last night for refusing to marry him.

Police said today that Mehaboob Ali threw acid around 2100 hours last night on the 18-year-old girl studying in a local college here.

Seriously injured victim has been shifted to a private hospital here for treatment and the police were on the look out for Mahaboob hailing from Shigaon and his two accomplices.
