NREGS cards in names of MLA and kin
Shivpuri, MP, Jan 28 (UNI) An inquiry is underway into job cards being made in the names of this district's Pichhor MLA and former minister K P Singh and his relatives under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.
''The cards bear an address in Pichhor sub-division's Kararkheda village but we never even applied for the cards,'' Mr Singh said here today.
Collector Caroline Khongwar Deshmukh said the cards were made in the name of a deceased person and a magistrate in this district's Sirsaur area. Those were also being probed.
