HJC (BL) to contest all Lok Sabha seats in Haryana
Hisar, Jan 23 (UNI) Haryana Janhit Congress (BL) would contest all the 10 Lok Sabha seats in the state, former chief minister and patron of the party Bhajan Lal said here today.
While talking to newspersons here, Mr Bhajan Lal asserted HJC was fast gaining popularity among masses in the state and said that the ''Congress high command is bewildered over the unexpected support of the people to our party''.
Describing as mere ''political speculation'' the reports of HJC negotiating alliance with other parties, Mr Bhajan Lal said, ''the third front is still under process and it would be too early to say anything about alliance with any party.'' He also denied having any dialogue with the Bharatiya Janata Party so far over the alliance issue, stressing that as of now the party was confident about going it alone in the state.
''We are forming party cadre from village level to the Lok Sabha contituencies and Kuldeep Bishnoi has started a campaign for this purpose in the state. Leaders from various parties are joining in large numbers,'' he said.
