Sri Ramananda Thirtha remembered
Hyderabad, Jan 22 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today recalled the services rendered by Swamy Ramanand Thirtha for the uplift of downtrodden and promotion of education in Telangana region.
APCC Acting President G S Rao garlanded the portrait of Sri Ramananda Thirtha at the Gandhi Bhavan on the occasion of his death anniversary.
Mr Rao also garlanded the portrait of Madapati Hanumantha Rao, first Mayor of Hyderabad city on his birth anniversary today.
PCC general secretaries G Niranjan, K Satyanarayana Goud and other party leaders participated in the function.
