Rajasthan reeling under intense cold wave conditions

Jaipur, Jan 22 (UNI) Rajasthan reeled under a severe cold wave conditions sweeping across the state.

In the northern parts of the state-Pilani and Ganganagar, the minimum temperature dropped below freezing point while Churu and Mount Abu reported zero degree celsius.

Weather office forecast a dry but cold conditions with formation of ground frost in some places in nothern part of the state.

The minimum temperature in Ganganagar dropped to -0.2 degrees while Pilani remained the coldest place with -0.6 degrees.

In the state capital Jaipur, the icy wind coupled with over cast sky intensified the cold wave conditions.

Dabok(Udaipur) recorded 5.4, Jaisalmer 5.6, Jaipur 6.4, Bikaneer 6.9, Barmer 7, Ajmer 7.3, Jodhpur degrees, 8.2, and Kota reported 8.4 degrees.
