Illicit liquor with fake labels of famous liquor brands seized

New Delhi, Jan 22 (UNI) Delhi Police have busted a gang involved in making illicit liquor and then selling it with fake labels of famous liquor brands, and also arrested two people from near Tughlaqabad fort in South Delhi.

The police on January 19 arrested Muzzafar Hussain and Hussain, involved in smuggling of illicit liquor from Haryana to Delhi and then storing it in a godown in the area of Tughlaqabad fort where they affixed on the liquor bottles labels of famous branded liquor companies which were then supplied in different Governmenmt outlets of liquor at different parts of Delhi.

The police recovered from them 21 cartons containing quarters of director special black, aristocrat, Blender's pride and Aristocrat premium.
