Centre gives nod to foot bridges, under passes on NH 8: Hooda

Chandigarh, Jan 21 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has said that the Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways, TR Balu, had conceded his request for constructing five foot bridges and two under passes on national highway number 8 in Gurgaon.

He said that Mr Balu had also agreed to lay the foundation stone of these bridges on January 23.

The foot bridges would be constructed at Khandsa, Rajiv Chowk, Narshing Pura and two bridges between IFFCCO Chowk and Udyog Marg and the under passes would be constructed at Anaj Mandi and Khedki Daulta.

The Chief Minister said that these foot bridges would be constructed for the smooth passage of vehicles and for the commuters.
