'UP to recruit 60,000 special BTC teachers'

Jaunpur, Jan 21 (UNI) As many as 60,000 special BTC teachers would be recruited in Uttar Pradesh soon, state higher secondary research and techincal council chairman Dr Om Prakash Tripathi said today.

''Some people have filed a petition in the High Court against the recruitment, but a decision is awaited in this regard,'' Dr Tripathi said addressing media here.

The state government is making efforts to recruit 60,000 special BTC teachers in UP.

After this, 20,000 special BTC teachers would be recruited every year in each district of the state.

Besides, the government was making all efforts to improve the primary education in the state.
