Rs 2.40 Lakh worth gold ornaments robbed from a Gold export Co.
Bangalore, Jan 21 (UNI) Gold Ornaments worth Rs 2.40 lakhs was robbed from Rajesh Exports, a leading Gold Manufacturing and Export Company at Whitefield, in the outskirts of the City in the wee hours of today.
Police said that a four member gang, however, failed in their attempt to open the locker in which manufactured ornaments were kept and a big haul of robbery was averted.
Joint Commissioner (Crime) Gopal B Hosur said police have taken two security guards were on duty in the premises for questioning as they have given confusing statement over the incident.
A complaint has been received from a senior official of Rajesh Exports, he added.
