'BJP concerned for safety of small investors' : BJP

New Delhi, Jan 21 (UNI) The BJP today said it was deeply concerned about the sharp slide in the share market sensex, resulting in a loss of 1400 points, and asked the Government to take appropriate action to save the interests of the small investors.

BJP spokesman Ravishankar Prasad asked to comment to the slide in the Stock Markets said the BJP was concerned about the safety of funds of small investors and regulators and the Government should take steps to secure these investments, he said.

The sensex had lost 1400 points giving tense time for investor community.
