CPI (M) to hold meet in city from Jan 21
Mysore, Jan 19(UNI) More than 10,000 workers are expected to take part in a four-day state level Communist Party of India (Marxist) conference here from January 21 as part of its preparation for the coming assembly polls in the state.
Speaking to newsmen reception committee Chairman Mr Jayaram and General Secretary N S Prabhakar said that the party would discuss the strategy to be adopted for the coming assembly elections besides organising various party meetings at the state level.
Polit Bureau members including Sitaram Yechury, S Ramachandra Pillai and K Varadarajan will take part in the meeting.
Mr Prabhakar said that 300 delegates elected in the recently concluded district conferences of the party would also participate in the meet.
A massive public rally will also be organised on January 21 which would pass through the main streets.
