Dhumal for improving infrastructure
Shimla, Jan 18 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today said besides creation of quality infrastructure and improvement in education system, self-reliance, self-employment and prosperity, his government was committed to strengthening of health network in the future.
In a meeting with the MLAs of Kullu, Kinnaur Hamirpur and Lahaul Spiti here, he said the government would accord top priority to unemployment problem and sincere efforts would be made to generate employment and self-employment avenues in public and private sectors in the coming years.
Mr Dhumal said all most 100 per cent literacy among the youth and the issues of the educated unemployed would not be ignored.
The state government would aim at qualitative improvement in the prevailing educational system and best efforts would be made to equip every institution with required teaching and non-teaching staff.
He said efforts would be made to make sanctioned medical and para-medical staff available to provide best health services to the people residing in their operational area.
There was need to create quality educational infrastructure to meet global challenges in the age of par excellence and competition, he added.
