Punjab police arrest one suspect of Ludhiana blast from Jaislamer
Jaisalmer, Jan 17 (UNI) The Punjab police have arrested a person in connection with his involvement in the Ludhiana cinema hall blast last August.
According to sources the Punjab police team arrested Ali Mohammad alias Aliya, a resident under Mohangarh police station on Tuesday night and took him to Punjab for further interrogation in the case.
Ali was arrested from Sadru area in the district.
The police said Ali was said to be one of the main links to the case as he allegedly supplied the RDX to Babar Khalsa International accused to have masterminded the blast, which killed at least seven people and injured about 40 others.
The arrest of Ali follows the identification by Gurpreet Singh, the main accused in the blast.
The sources said the RDX was smuggled from Pakistan.
