Several injured in train accident near Digha
Digha, Jan 15 (UNI) Several people were injured today when the 2867 Shalimar Express hit three rickshaws at an unmanned level crossing near Ramnagar in East Midnapore district, South Eastern Railway(SER) sources said.
SER sources said the accident occurred about 76 km from the sea town of Digha.
They said a relief train from Kharagpur had been sent to the spot. A medical team as well as high officials had already rushed there.
Details were awaited, the sources added.
