Non-Resident Goans to celebratre Reunion Nite on Jan 19

Panaji, Jan 13 (UNI) World Alliance of Goan Overseas Associations (WAGOA) in collaboration with IndologyGoa and Freedom Holidays Limited will organise a grand 'Non-Resident Goans Reunion Nite' here on January 19.

About 500 NRGs will participate in presence of NRI Commissioner Edward Faleiro and Chief Secretary J P Singh on the occasion to share their overseas experiences on one platform.

Disclosing this to media persons here today, WAGOA General Secretary Tony Colaco (Australia) and IndologyGoa Chairperson Dr Anjali Mohan Rao said India's celebrated Goan band ''Forefront'' led by guitarist Seby Pinto will perform a live concert on the occasion.

The WAGOA and IndologyGoa will announce their world-wide campaigns to promote Goan culture and culinary art even as they plan to organise week-long Goa festivals at different places all over the world during the year.

There are according to an estimate more than 5,00,000 Goans spread across all the continents.
