Doctor, paints with blood for cause of Tibetians

Berhampur, Jan 12 (UNI) Blood is the colour and syringes are the colour palette, which this doctor on a mission uses to paint his imaginations with a cause.

Bhopal-based ayurvedic doctor,Dr Prakash Yadav was here yesterday to paint the faces of great personalities who brought freedom to the country, including Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subash Chandra Bose.

Since over last one decade,Dr Yadav have been painting everything with his own blood demanding Bharat Ratna to Tibetian spiritual leader His Holiness Dalai Lama, boycott of Olympic Games in China to be held from August 8 next and declare Tibet as 'Heaven of Peace'.

Hundreds of Tibetans have settled in Gajapati district since laong and make a living by selling woolen clothes.

Accompanied by these Tibetians, the 40-year-old doctor painted the faces the Mahatma, Netaji, Gautam Budha, Rabindra Nath Tagore and, Dalai Lama with his own blood drawn from his body through a syringe.

As the doctors went on with his work, thousands of people supported his cause by raising slogans like 'Free Tibet-Save India' and 'Chinese leaders Murdabad'.

''I read about the sufferings of the Tibetans from a magazine and decided to launch this campaign of drawing pictures with my own blood,'' he said.

Before coming to Behrampur, Dr Yadav had launched the campaign in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Rourkela.

Dr Yadav, who publishes a monthly magazine 'Glory of India' in Hindi, will move to Vishakhapatnam next to sensitise the people of the country as well as the world on the sufferings of the Tibetians in their own place.
