Land for Angamali-Sabari rly to be acquired fast: CM
Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 11 (UNI) The Kerala Government will acquire land for the proposed Angamali-Sabari railway line in fast track, Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan said today.
In a post-cabinet briefing here, he said the purchasing price for the 204 acres of lands out of the 507 acres for the Technocity IT Park had been approved.
The Cabinet had approved the State Level Empowered Committee's decision on the price, the Marxist leader said.
The Cabinet also allowed the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation to take over the solid waste treatment plant from Poabs Group at Vilappisala, near here.
